A photograph of George Mann Jr. (left) with two friends in a hunting camp, probably north of Lloydminster in the early 20th century. They appear to be having good time. He grew up in Onion Lake between 1883 and 1900(see historical note), became a Government telegraph operator in 1902, and married Barr Colonist Ethel Burgess in 1904.

These include Onion Lake, Kehewin Reserve, Leask, Sturgeon Lake, Cold Lake, Fort Qu'Appelle, One Arrow Reserve, Piapot Reserve and many in British Columbia later in her career.
