Discusses the failure of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC) in 1927 to consider the perspectives of the Inuit, Innut, and Algonquian peoples when resolving the question of the border between Newfoundland and Quebec in the Labrador region. Highlights this practice as a reflection of Canada’s colonial past and how the inclusion of Indigenous knowledge would have changed the process.

An assessment was performed on the current state of the Mohawk language skills using a detailed questionnaire; results indicated efforts to teach Mohawk to the younger generation were successful.

This sitting of the Commission deals with establishing dialogue between the people of the Oka region, the town of Oka, and the Parish of Oka. File contains a round table discussion the purpose of which is to hear the views of property owners of the parish and town of Oka "all of whom had very rough experiences during the events in the summer of 1990." D'Anglure discusses his work and experiences with Aboriginal culture, particularly with regard to the Inuit people. D'Anglure discusses how he thinks cultural development and education is key to healing Aboriginal societies, and that political autonomy, while important, is not the only thing which must be done. Following his presentation the assembled Commissioners thank him for his thoughts.
