Historical note:
The Wanuskewin Heritage Park is located northeast of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It opened in June 1992, after three years of planning for a park that would not only preserve centuries of cultural heritage, but also help build a bridge between First Nations and non-First Nations people of the province.To accompany book about Josephine-ba Mandamim, an Ojibwe Grandmother, and her love for water; she has walked around the Great Lakes to raise awareness of the importance of protecting it for future generations.
