This file contains a presentation by James Blanchard and Janet Cooper. Their school district is a recent amalgamation of the Dalhousie and Campbellton school districts, and also amalgamated the Aboriginal community schools at Eel River and Restigouche, Quebec. The District's Student Services department offers special education services for the District guidance and counselling services, support services to education like school social workers, speech and language pathologists and psychological services. After only one year of amalgamation, the presenters believe it has been a success for both students and teachers.
