Literary criticism article examines and compares depictions of Indigenous masculinities in the two novels. Author dissects warrior stereotypes and discusses the ways that those masculinities are affected by relocation overseas.
Author tells the story of her people from the time of great flood, contact with Europeans and settlement of the treaties. Concludes with a phonetic and pictoral alphabet.
Looks at four interlinked factors that contribute to Indigenous inclusion and incorporates them into a suggested framework for developing an organizational diagnostic tool. Four elements are: number of Indigenous Peoples employed by the organization; opportunities to engage in training and upskilling; availability of cultural competence programs and spaces for cultural practices; and evidence of champions of Indigenous culture.
Looked at circumstances which positively and negatively impact use of fish, shellfish and game in programs for children from birth to age six. Study consisted of environmental scan and literature review, key informant interviews, and four case studies.
