The Impact of Suicide Contagion and Intergenerational Segregation on Youth and Young Adults in Remote Indigenous Communities in Northern Territory, Australia

Data for research obtained from National Coroners Information System and Northern Territory Coroner’s Office, and covers years 1981-2010; 1991-2010 and 2001-2010. Argues that since Elders have little or no suicide rate, their involvement with youth could have a positive effect. Discusses several programs currently in operation.
