Historical note:
The Wanuskewin Heritage Park is located northeast of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It opened in June 1992, after three years of planning for a park that would not only preserve centuries of cultural heritage, but also help build a bridge between First Nations and non-First Nations people of the province.Outlines six stories including: flooding and a mudslide in the community of Tsawataineuk First Nation, tropical storm Earl uncovers First Nations artifacts in New Brunswick, questions about gun registry violating treaty rights and more.
