Discusses case study of traditional education and experiential learning in the Social Studies classroom. Activities would be suitable for Grades 9/10 and 11/12.
After review of existing literature authors conducted systematic survey of electronic curricular resources pertinent to the Ontario context and readily available to educators. Google, YouTube and university databases were searched. Eighty-two sources were identified, 60% of which were by an Indigenous author/partner/illustrator.
