Drug List

The file contains two booklets entitled "Drug List No. 3: Standard Medical and Surgical Supplies." The booklets contain a list of drugs with the description "This list is intended for the guidance of Indian Agents, Doctors, Principals of Indian Residential Schools, Nurses, Field Matrons and Dispensers, in making requisitions for drugs and surgical supplies for the treatment of Indians." One copy is the original, the other a later revised edition. No date is provided although they appear to have been published during the tenure of Duncan Campbell Scott as head of the Department (1913-1932).
