Historical note:
The Wanuskewin Heritage Park is located northeast of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It opened in June 1992, after three years of planning for a park that would not only preserve centuries of cultural heritage, but also help build a bridge between First Nations and non-First Nations people of the province.After review of existing literature authors conducted systematic survey of electronic curricular resources pertinent to the Ontario context and readily available to educators. Google, YouTube and university databases were searched. Eighty-two sources were identified, 60% of which were by an Indigenous author/partner/illustrator.
