Adiponectin protein is supposed to mediate obesity-related resistance to insulin. Concentrations of adiponectin in Pima Indians. Individuals with more adiponectin were less likely to develop type 2 diabetes.
Findings are organized into five themes: preparation; recruitment; admission, nursing access and bridging programs; progression; and post-graduate recruitment and retention. Includes recommendations made by stakeholder groups with respect to each of the areas.
