Argues that because Curtis's photographic project The North American Indian was a creative one, viewing pictures only through the lens of their accuracy or inaccuracy is too simplistic.
File contains a photocopy of a bibliography of Canadian theses pertaining to Indians from 1882 to 1979. It is an extensive list compiled by a University of Manitoba student. He found that few theses existed prior to 1920 (only 2), but the number steadily increases from then until 1979.
