In English / French.Study conducted in-depth semi-structured interviews with 25 client and 6 staff participants. Ten themes emerged: culture and identity, traditional health beliefs, family, health messaging from others, healthcare experience, access to quality care, patient engagement, self-care, communication with health care practitioners, personal agency and responsibility, and client management of medications.
