Consists of an interview where Adam Solway talks about being orphaned at 8 years and adopted by the Blackfoot Reserve, Alta; his attendance at a residential school; becoming a councillor and then chief of the reserve. He comments on the issues he had to deal with as well as providing comments on contemporary lifestyles and leadership.
The file contains two booklets entitled "Drug List No. 3: Standard Medical and Surgical Supplies." The booklets contain a list of drugs with the description "This list is intended for the guidance of Indian Agents, Doctors, Principals of Indian Residential Schools, Nurses, Field Matrons and Dispensers, in making requisitions for drugs and surgical supplies for the treatment of Indians." One copy is the original, the other a later revised edition.

She believes that residents should have a choice in determining their leadership. Bayne also discusses abolishing the Indian Act, the need for personal development programs and calls for more treatment centres for substance abuse.
