A comprehensive report on the participatory research project funded by the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG, MMIW) facilitated through the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC). Project engaged 113 Indigenous and 15 non-Indigenous women drawing on their experience and expertise as survivors of gendered colonial violence.
Looks at the challenges faced by Aboriginal youth who are trying to find a balance between maintaining cultural roots and living in the mainstream world.

Boudrias, outgoing President of the Native Alliance of Quebec, discusses his own past, the way Aboriginal people have been treated in his region, the struggles of off-reserve populations, resource and economic development, housing, culture, racism and discrimination, and rights. Following the presentation the assembled Commissioners discuss some of the issues raised with Boudrias.
