Budd was the first Indigenous person to be ordained in the Anglican Church in the missions of Manitoba and Saskatchewan during the late 19th century.
Introduction and two archival items on social and economic conditions of Aboriginal people. The first report is on the socio-economic conditions that contributed to the spread of tuberculosis, and the economic measures needed to be taken to improve the lives of the Swampy Cree Indians. The second report is an account of the socio-economic conditions of Aboriginal people and recommendations for improving their health status.
