Examines the influence of the Battle of Seven Oaks on the creation of Métis nationhood.

Looks at the parallels between two plays in terms of the subject matter and the dramatic techniques used. For example, bingo, is used as a symbol and illustration of women's consumerism and of the spiritual emptiness in their lives.
