An overview of the predominant narrative of high Indigenous fertility rates. Contrasts the systematic response to that narrative in Canada to views held within Indigenous cultures.
Survey conducted using Respondent-Driven Sampling resulted in 601 adult and 229 child surveys being completed. In addition to health questions respondents were asked about other topics such as culture, identity, housing, discrimination, and access to justice.
