Documents & Presentations
Description
Sketch of a battery of men travelling to the front lines; men on horses, horses pulling a cannon [Gatling gun?].
Looks at the parallels between two plays in terms of the subject matter and the dramatic techniques used. For example, bingo, is used as a symbol and illustration of women's consumerism and of the spiritual emptiness in their lives.
Descriptive study to determine if obesity and self-reported diabetes rise with increasing geographic accessibility to urban centres.
Discusses a play, The Book of Jessica, that illustrates the struggle women have in understanding what being "a woman" means, including across the barriers of race, culture, privilege and age.
Historical note:
The Rocky Mountain Rangers, under Captain Stewart, and the Moose Mountain Scouts, under Captain White, were also put in commission for service during the 1885 Resistance.
