The Migration of Indigenous Peoples in the Canadian Prairie Context: Policy and Program Implications to Support Urban Movers

Study conducted in Winnipeg focuses on factors which contributed to decision to move, service utilization patterns upon arrival, and decision to remain in the city. Argues that that more attention should be paid to mobility, in particular the reasons for the circular pattern of movement between urban centres and home communities.
