Mistusenni Rock

Three images of Mistusenni rock, now under water at Diefenbaker Lake. Mistusenni, a 400 ton glacial erratic, 14 feet high, 79 feet in circumference, was sacred to the Cree and Plains Indians. Attempts to remove the rock failed. Fragments were used to construct a monument for historic site marker near Elbow.
