History Thesis (Ph.D.)--Australian National University, 1996.

Retrospective cohort study of geographic variation rates in infant mortality, low birth weight, prenatal care, and the availability of maternal-child health care found considerable variation.

Study uses data from 165 295 respondents from the 2016 Behavioural Risk Factor Surveillance System to assess how sociodemographic factors affect healthy ageing in Alaskan older adults. Findings suggest some significant differences between Alaska the continental U.S. exist and that programs designed to reduce disparities and promote healthy behaviours should be tailored to fit the target population.

English Thesis (Ph.D.)--Lehigh University, 2008.

Project goal was to address two problems: patients who did not start or discontinued medication; and those who did follow up on a referral to behavioral health provider. Reports user feedback on the iPad-based Depression Management Decision Support Tool (DM-DST) which was developed.

Population Health Thesis (Ph.D.)--University of Ottawa, 2013.

Presents a study to determine if there is a difference in birth outcomes among First Nations women living on-reserve versus off-reserve in Manitoba.

Uses information from the 2011 National Household Survey to assess whether being being an off-reserve Status vs. non-Status Indian affects educational attainment and employment earnings.

Examines Aboriginal history, issues and problems in urban communities in Western Canada.

Looks at an urban Aboriginal reserve, within the city of Sydney, Nova Scotia which uses a business approach to government, management and socio-economic development.

Consists of an interview with Dora Meawasige where she gives a general account of reservation life and life while trapping in the bush.

Art History Thesis (M.A.)--Concordia University, 2019.

Authors examine the intersecting social, economic, racial, and colonial/systemic factors that create a reality for Indigenous women living in the Vancouver DTES that includes elevated incidences of poverty, violence, substance use, and health concerns. Provide commentary and recommendations surrounding the creation of policy, programs, and interventions.
