Midland

Interviewees identified low income, reliance on energy-dense, nutrient-poor foods due affordability and length of shelf life, and lack of access to transportation and country foods as underlying causes.

Delineates patterns of language transmission based on a study conducted in four Ontario communities: Midland, North Bay, Sudbury and Timmins. Also provides guidelines for future research and initiatives.
