Researchers assess peer-reviewed research and government gray literature to determine the current level of knowledge regarding the effects of, and conflicts between aircrafts and traditional subsistence harvesters and their communities in Alaska. Findings indicate a data gap that will require cooperation between rural communities, aircraft users, and decision-makers. Supplementary Appendix 1 contains a table of literature search results and bibliography of the relevant literature.
