ICC found breaches of Treaty and other fiduciary obligations and recommended the claim be negotiated under Canada's Specific Claims Policy. French language version. Commissioners include: Harry S. Argues that the American Indian Movement (AIM) was a main factor in bringing rapid change and empowerment to many Aboriginal people and communities.

Examines the problems involved in resolving the Black Hills land claim between the United States government and the Sioux Nation.

Historical background and submission to Indian Claims Commission (ICC) facilitation of claim for loss of use of flooded lands in Qu'Appelle Valley Indian Development Agency (QVIDA). ICC facilitated process, parties reached Settlement Agreement that was ratified and approved in 2003.

Details the proceedings of a two-day workshop held in Australia that brought together scholars and policy practitioners from Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand, Canada and the United States in July of 2015. The workshop examined the implications of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) for collection, maintenance, and use of data related to Indigenous peoples and the potential effects for Indigenous sovereignties.
