Agreement concluded between the Crown and principle headmen of the Ojibewa (Ojibway/Anishinabek). This Treaty is commonly referred to as Robinson Huron Treaty. Document is reprinted from the 1939 edition.
Historical background and submission to Indian Claims Commssion (ICC) regarding whether the Crown's lawful obligations were fulfilled for promises of land and economic assistance. ICC recommended, If the obligations were not fulfilled, the claim should be accepted for negogiation under the Specific Claims Policy.
