File contains 14 negatives of Aboriginal art displayed for Vincent Massey Students May 25, 1989. The art displayed includes a variety of traditional items such as snowshoes, mukluks, beadwork, and minature totem poles. In eight of the negatives an unidentified man is shown holding up a minature tipi. In the other negatives art is displayed on tables.

Historical note:

First proclaimed by the Governor General of Canada on 13 June 1996, June 21st of every year has become a day in the Canadian calendar that presents Aboriginal peoples with a great opportunity to express great pride for their rich diverse cultures with their families, neighbours, friends and visitors.

Dance Thesis (M.A.)--The American University, 2006. Lakota Sioux Ghost Dance of 1890 is used as a case study concerning preservation and documentation of traditional dance regalia and material.

Consists of an interview where Adam Solway talks about being orphaned at 8 years and adopted by the Blackfoot Reserve, Alta; his attendance at a residential school; becoming a councillor and then chief of the reserve. He comments on the issues he had to deal with as well as providing comments on contemporary lifestyles and leadership.

This is a continuation of an interview with Adam Solway on January 29, 1983 on the Blackfoot Reserve.

Presents lesson plans to assist teachers on traditional clothing of the Northern Plains Indians including the artistic and cultural expression of clothing. Developed for K-12.

Atimoyoo, a Cree man armed with a lever action repeating rifle in traditional dress, circa 1905. A note with the photograph says his name was possibly Mooswa, but the family has subsequently identified him as Atimoyoo.
