Discussion on the problem of discourse in the Dunne-za/Cree trial, which pitted written documents against knowledge gained from the oral tradition of First Nations peoples.
Discusses the seeming inconsistencies between Scott's actions as a bureaucrat for the Dept. of Indian Affairs, and the attitudes expressed in his poetry.
