Attempts to identify, highlight and outline educational and social programs and interventions which address needs of 12- to 25-year-olds. Specifically looks what initiatives have been developed, where they have occurred, and what guiding principles and practices have led to success.
Review based on published research, discussions with subject matter experts and interviews with representatives from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Indian Health Service (IHS).
For use with the book Suqak and the Raven (Inuktitut version).. Activities and discussion questions geared toward students in Kindergarten to Grade 3.
Survey assess the burden of HIV, hepatitis C and associated risks. Information is collected on social determinants of health, use of prevention services, substance use, sexual behaviours and care for the two diseases.
Results from telephone interviews with 2,603 First Nations, Inuit and Métis business owners between May 10 and September 22, 2021.
Survey asked questions about ancestry, cultural-linguistic identity, participation in professional learning activities, language fluency, knowledge of specific Indigenous subject areas, and comfort level in integrating Indigenous perspectives in the classroom.
