Primary source for titles was Amazon Best Sellers in Children’s Native Canadian Story Books, as well as publishers' web pages, and library and authors' lists. Objective was to identify fiction books for ages 0-18 written by Indigenous authors that contained reconciliation-related themes. More than 150 books met the inclusion criteria.
Discusses entities currently responsible for official place names and their processes, and some of the practicalities which need to be addressed when reverting to the Indigenous names.
Material divided into seven categories: graphic novel, nonfiction, novel, play, poetry, short stories, and stories. Each entry contains summary, information about the author and list of titles also written by them.
