Created to be used with the article Warp, Weft, Weave: Joining Generations published in vol. 53, Issue, 3, 2020 of British Columbia History magazine. Designed for students in Grades 8 to 12.

Joan Beatty was the first Aboriginal woman elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature. Prior to this Beatty had a career in journalism and production, as well as management at SaskTel.Examines the work of activist Alootook Ipellie to show how it reflects Inuit perspectives on housing, animals and land.
