Description
Statistics for number of households in core housing need based on whether the dwelling is adequate (does not require major repairs), suitable (has enough bedrooms), and affordable (costs less than 30% of before-tax income).
Native households are defined those containing specified member or proportion members which identify as Aboriginal.
Estimates were subsequently revised due to overestimation.

Description
Looks at the Sts’ailes Primary Health Care Project, a participatory community-academic research partnership, that provides programs and services to identify and meet the primary health care and wellness needs of the Aboriginal clients who reside in the region.
One of the unique aspects of the General Social Survey is that it captures information on whether crimes are reported to police. In this survey three-quarters (76%) of violent incidents involving Aboriginal women, incidents that were committed by someone other than a spouse or common-law partner, were not reported to the police.
