Introduction and two archival items discuss the employment of Aboriginals in the agricultural sector. The first deals with the Dept. of Indian Affairs efforts to recruit them as migrant farm workers. The second discusses the exclusion of farm workers from protection under labour laws. Taken from the 1966 National Agricultural Manpower Committee Meeting.
Analysis of imagery, textual narrative and para-text found in reports produced by the Australian Arts Council over 43 years (1973-2015).
Author uses her own experiences as non-Indigenous woman of color to explore the challenges in becoming an ally with Indigenous communities fight in their fight for decolonization.
