Looks at the Residential Southern Placement Program as an extension of colonization by the removal of Indigenous populations with cognitive disabilities from the Northwest Territories.
Survey conducted using Respondent-Driven Sampling resulted in 601 adult and 229 child surveys being completed. In addition to health questions respondents were asked about other topics such as culture, identity, housing, discrimination, and access to justice.
