Involved training of workers and counsellors, establishment of support network, awareness and education of the legacy of residential schools, and healing. Looks at school related outcomes and self-concept from a sampling of grade 4 - 8 students in northwestern Ontario. Results indicate Aboriginal students have the same or higher self-worth and competence compared to non-Aboriginal students.
