Malcolm Norris (1900-1967) was an influential Canadian Metis leader of the twentieth century, and celebrated Aboriginal activist.Discusses how the two men's writings illustrate the two views points about the best option for Red River settlement's future: those who were in favour of annexation by Canada and those who felt that it would not be in the settlement's best interests since terms and conditions of it's future would be dictated by eastern Canadians.
