Consists of an interview with Joe Sylvester where he gives an account of Indian medicine; legends concerning migration of Algonquin Indians; the role of elders; of the deterioration of reservation conditions following World War II; the religious significance of the number "four"; views on welfare and its role in disrupting traditional Indian values; and a legend about the origin of the drum.
Uses the characters of turtle, wolf and beaver to educate the audience about treaties and the treaty relationship. Suitable for all ages.
