Introduction and two archival items discuss the employment of Aboriginals in the agricultural sector. The first deals with the Dept. of Indian Affairs efforts to recruit them as migrant farm workers. The second discusses the exclusion of farm workers from protection under labour laws. Taken from the 1966 National Agricultural Manpower Committee Meeting.
Lesson uses interviews with Pat Vegas and Redbone from the documentary Rumble: The Indians That Rocked the World as a jumping-off point to examine the U.S. government's efforts to control Native American culture by way of music.
