Study uses data from the 2012 Aboriginal Peoples Survey to measure income-related inequalities in the experience of psychological distress and suicidal behaviors in Aboriginal adults living off-reserve. Findings indicate that higher income and especially food security serve as a protective factor against mental health issues.
