The epigraph or introduction to the poem is titled Robert Gordon! and may be used as an alternate title. The document is entitled "[Letter and poem] [manuscript], October 27th, 1885, Regina jail [to] Robert Gordon / Louis David Riel" in the University of Saskatchewan Library catalogue.
