Uses data from the 2006 Canadian Maternity Experiences Survey (MES) to examine the risk factors for postpartum depression (PPD) among different demographic groups in Canada. Study interviews 20 Indigenous and non-Indigenous medical leaders in health and health policy to determine what constitutes meaningful involvement of Indigenous peoples in health policy making.
