Historical note:
Joan Beatty was the first Aboriginal woman elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature. Prior to this Beatty had a career in journalism and production, as well as management at SaskTel.Chronicles the life and works of the first Aboriginal woman to receive the Prince Albert Citizen of the Year Award.
