Sketch of a battery of men travelling to the front lines; men on horses, horses pulling a cannon [Gatling gun?].
Developed for use with book by artist Christi Belcourt in accordance with of the Ontario Adult Literacy Curriculum Framework.
Resource for teaching number, pattern and space/shapes by incorporating images and forms used in First Nations art. Includes black line masters.
Historical note:
The Rocky Mountain Rangers, under Captain Stewart, and the Moose Mountain Scouts, under Captain White, were also put in commission for service during the 1885 Resistance.
