Black and white photograph of a group of men standing in front of a rest room set up by the Canada Life Assurance Company at the Calgary Stampede. Five of these men are Indigenous and wearing idealized versions of traditional clothing. The picture includes (from left) Pretty Young Man, Many Fire, Wolf Shoe, Chief Go Getun, Heavy Shield, and Haughton Running Rabbit. The Caucasian men are unidentified.

Indian dancers from St. Mary's School poses in front of the stage in the Pensioners and Pioneers Pavilion where they had performed at a potluck supper held by the association's member. The hoop dancers wear matching blue shirts. The girl in the red dress performed a shawl dance.
Brief history and information about role of master of ceremonies, arena director, Powwow Princess, singers and drummers, as well as traditional rituals, dance styles and their accompanying regalia, daily sequence of events and etiquette.
