Historical note:
Buffalo Bill Cody helped found Cody, Wyoming in 1895, and established his TE Ranch in the area. In 1902, he built the Irma Hotel, which he called "just the sweetest hotel that ever was." Historical note:
One Arrow Cree First Nation signed Treaty 6 on September 6, 1878; while the One Arrow Reserve is located 53 km southwest of Prince Albert, the band has a total of 9,331.4 ha surrounding the South Saskatchewan River. This band settled on its reserve late in the autumn of 1880, in what was considered a fine location to begin agricultural development.
