Historical note:
Charcoal (Si'-okskitsis) was renowned for his strength and cunning as a warrior. He killed his wife's lover, fired at an Indian agent and a NWMP, and later killed a NWMP sergeant and was executed in 1897.Comments on four letters containing new information regarding a group of five Inuit who travelled to England from Labrador in the 18th century. The four letters discussed are included.
