Honore Jaxon, aka William Henry Jackson. Jaxon was Riel's secretary leading up to the Northwest Resistance and his only white Protestant follower. Prior to this he had been secretary of the Prince Albert Settler's Union. After the resistance he escaped to the United States where he was active in the Labour Movement and the Bahai faith.Includes text and images.

James Morrow Walsh (22 May 1840 - 25 July 1905) was a North West Mounted Police (NWMP) officer and the first Commissioner of the Yukon Territory. Born in Prescott, Ontario, James Walsh was one of the original officers of the NWMP.
