Murray to form Murray and Brooks, General Merchants, 1883. In 1885 he sat on the jury that found Louis Riel Guilty of High Treason. The edition is to present a printed version faithful to what Riel himself wrote, being "critical" in the sense that errors will be noted, variants recorded, and annotations furnished.
