Discusses documents found in the Provincial Archives of Manitoba, Archives de l'Archevêché de Saint-Boniface, Public Archives of Canada, Archives de la Chancellerie de l’Archevêché de Montréal, and Les Archives du Séminaire de Québec and the periods in Riel's life which are not represented in any collections.
