Uses Fort Vancouver National Historical Site in Portland, Oregon and the Meewasin Valley Authority in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as case studies to discuss how urban parks might contribute to reconciliation if they support Indigenous identities and cultural activities.
Purpose of report is to provide overview of currently available data connected to the District of Oregon and the U.S. Attorney’s Office's Missing and Murdered Action Plan for 2021. Data sources include September 2020 Oregon State Police Report on Missing and Murdered Native American Women (OSP Report), National Missing and Unidentified Persons Systems (NamUs) database, National Crime Information Center database (NCIC), and USAO.
